PLEASE NOTE:

We have been dealing in Jacob Epstein's work for the last 40 years, but due to copyright restrictions imposed by the artist's estate and the Tate Gallery [their representatives] we have had to remove photographs of our stock from this website.
As a result we have stopped selling Jacob Epstein's sculpture and drawings.

I wrote a book on Jacob Epstein's sculpture and drawings in February 2026:
  'Jacob Epstein - Figures and Heads - 1907-59' - but publication had to be cancelled due to the level of photograph reproduction fees imposed by the artist's estate [and the  Tate Gallery]. 
If we sold every copy of the book at full retail price, the total received would not have been enough to cover their fees.

There is something seriously wrong with the level of copyright photograph reproduction fees and it is making it very difficult to publish a well illustrated art book. 
We have bought some recently which were crammed full of text, but with only a small number of tiny photographs of the paintings or sculpture. If you buy a book on an artist you want to see as much of the art as possible, not just read about it.

Luckily many artists and artists' estates waive these fees.
